a source of angst
Being hungover and waking up at eight in the morning. No one else is awake this early, so the morning is lonely. You’ve woken up with a shrunken stomach and dry mouth. And all you need is pizza. This is an aching and profound need for warm, cheesy pizza.
But places that have pizza are not open at eight in the morning. It’s a piece of cake to get coffee, pie, maybe even a sandwich....

things i Learned From Living in New York #8
Segways will always be funny.
You can survive sleeping in an apartment with a broken heater in the dead of winter for three weeks straight if you wear six layers and envelope your head in the covers so that your own breath serves as an insulator. But you won’t like it.
Never hang around my neighborhood, the Port Authority area, if the buses to or from Jersey are delayed or cancelled.
